My pumpkins!

A while back, I’m talking a couple years, I talked about Zombie Pumpkins on this very website.  If you’re not familiar, Ryan Wickstrand owns the website Zombie Pumpkins, which features TONS of pumpkin patterns and other pumpkin related merchandise.  His website is where I get my patterns from each year and this year I decided to up my game by ordering the Zombie Pumpkins carving knife and the Stick ‘n Carve paper.  Today I am going to review those products.  You can see en example of my work using the new tools to the left.  I’d say they turned out pretty well!  Keep reading for the rest of the review! In 2011 Haunt on the Hill had its final year of fear.  You probably assumed that as such, I would make sure to take lots of pictures.  You would be correct.  I had two people constantly taking pictures all night.  I even uploaded those pictures to my laptop.  Then, well then I forgot about them!  Actually, I’m not really sure what happened.  Maybe I was overcome with exhaustion after Halloween.  Maybe I was overwhelmed with emotions from retiring after 13 years of haunting the hills.  Maybe I’m lazy.  In reality, it was a bit of all three of those things.  However, I rediscovered the pictures last night and spent many hours getting them on the site today.  So, two years later, without further ado, here are the pictures from Haunt on the Hill 2011!

And this year at the mini-haunt I am doing at my sister’s house, I will make sure to take pictures!  Expect them in 2015!  I kid!

I wanted to share this bit of awesomeness with you (and by you I mean whomever still visits this site.  I love all two of you!)  Jokes aside, I was at Shopper’s Drugmart the other day when I saw these! مستضيف يورو 2024   Instead of Coffee Crisp and Smarties, Nestle has re-branded their classic chocolates for Halloween; the first being Coffin Crisp and the second Scaries. spin palace casino   They also had Scaeros instead of Aeros.  For my stateside friends, these are all chocolates that are available in Canada.  I love the Halloween makeovers!  I bought a bag of each for my eldest niece and nephew.  I was like a kid in a candy store!  Well, the candy aisle in the drugstore anyway!  Go find them, buy them, eat them, and enjoy!

It’s been a year without any posts. دانى الفيس   What can I say?  Halloween hasn’t played the same role in my life that it once did.  That being said, I miss it tremendously.  I miss the smell of saw dust and the sound of a Dremel hitting foam as I carve a new tombstone and I can’t enter my garage without feeling sad at the sight of my compound mitre saw collecting dust. 

Does this mean I am starting Haunt on the Hill again?  No, at least not now.  It does however mean a new opportunity has come my way.  My sister has asked that I do a mini haunt at her house and much to the excitement of my niece and nephew, I agreed.  It won’t be nearly the scale of what Haunt on the Hill was.  Her house is not big enough and I am lacking in time. قواعد لعبة اونو   It will be simple, yet professional. طريقة لعب الروليت   If I didn’t feel like I could do this well, I wouldn’t do it at all.  If you are interested in checking it out on Halloween night, shoot me an email and I would be more than happy to send you the address, but I won’t be posting it here, as it is not my own house and I wouldn’t do so without her consent.
