Taking a break from painting for one minute to tell you all a couple of important things. 

Firstly, a friend of mine and a well-known person in the Haunt industry, Jonathan Johnson, has just started a charity organization that collects costumes for disabled and less fortunate kids.  For more info, please check out his website here!

Secondly, this year at Haunt on the Hill we will be collecting money for the Hospital for Sick Children!  Several months back I received my donation box from the hospital’s fundraising team and I am working on a special way to display it.  My goal at the least is to raise $300 for the hospital, but I’m sure I can surpass that with the help of my neighbours and their generous spirit!  So kids, find mommy and daddy’s wallets and grab whatever you can! 

Ok back to painting because there’s only 34 days left until Halloween 2008!

Must continue Dremeling.  Must get Foam Coat out of fingernails.  Must remember to breath.  So tired!  Feet aching!  Bank account exhausted!  Wood everywhere! 

Oh how I love this holiday!

Hey there!  It’s been a while since I’ve posted anything, so here is an extremely vague idea of what is going on in the world of Haunt on the Hill:

Reconstruction is almost complete on the new jail cell design and fortunately it’s only fallen on my head once so far!  I have also finished one new tombstone and have begun work on my new sign!  There are a few other projects on the go and soon I will have a big announcement to make regarding this years’ display, so stay tuned.

I’m also making a trip to the States soon to hit up some stores across the border to look for even more great Halloween finds and I have plans to bring home a new friend that you may meet this Halloween in his home in the graveyard.  Plus, I’ve been to Party Packagers a billion times already and Kaboom, gotta support our local Halloween shops!
